As editing assistants, our first task was to migrate the film project from Adobe Premiere Pro to Avid Media Composer and bring the last edit version into Avid.
The whole process had to be built from scratch in Avid Media Composer due to RELINKS and OFFLINES issues. In other words, PROXYS, MXFs, SINCROS had to be done again (automatically and manually), so we could rebuild the timeline of the 6-hour version that was edited in Premiere Pro.
Once the final cut was finished, our second task was to do the reeling process for the Sound, VFX and Color departments and deliveries. We followed the instructions to put the film into its final form.
