Language in the Age of Social Networks is an educommunicative project of the Cádiz Press Association, financed by the Provincial Council of Cádiz. This is a Media Literacy initiative aimed at Secondary Education students and teachers in the province of Cádiz. Its objectives are to raise awareness, train and inform the students and teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate in our province, about the challenges of the new linguistic uses and registers that are used daily on Social Networks around the world, and their impact. on the content of the messages, reading comprehension, oral expression and the right to information of users, by carrying out theoretical – practical analysis in the classroom, and other dissemination elements.
